Photography

Working in the interior design industry for many years, image and good photography was critical to ensure our products looked attractive and on-trend. However, as a small firm we wanted to ensure that costs for photography were kept to a minimum.

Therefore I have learnt over the years how to create appealing images on a budget that attract potential customers as well as media professionals. I do this by working alongside professional photographers whilst doing as much as I can in-house such as staging and direction. I strongly value the skills of professional photographers and have long-standing relationships with a number in the Leeds and Bradford areas including Charles Waller and Bevan Cockerill.

Product photography

It’s important to ensure not just that the product itself looks attractive but also the context surrounding it in order to create the right image and appeal to the customer’s desired ‘lifestyle’. Good product images will be critical for being chosen by those using ‘Google Images’, those viewing products on your website, on social media or in brochures and also to gain more coverage in media publications.

Interiors photography

To demonstrate to a customer that you are a responsible seller that cares about what they do, good photography is important and high quality images reflect well on your business. When it comes to interiors, you want to help illustrate how a customer may want their home to appear, so a dark, dated image is an absolute no-no. This is why use of lighting and props is essential for creating the right lifestyle image.

Exterior photography

As a lover of beautiful old buildings and architecture, I have ended up working for businesses that have invested in this area and its a great way to engage the local community. By preserving a building and showing this off publicly, it reflects well on your business and offers a talking point for potential customers.

People photography

Illustrating what you do and the customer experience can be done easily through good photography. A picture paints a thousand words they say, so why not demostrate your services through images. I have experience in creating images of people at work by working with a professional photographer to take good team portraits as well as “at work” shots. I personally try to avoid using “stock” photos as I think its important to try to reflect your brand by using your own images.
