





The Victoria Therapy Centre is owned and operated by me, Helena, the founder of tintintin* Marketing, alongside my husband and qualified psychotherapist, Neil Dowsland.
In my role as Marketing Director at the Victoria Therapy Centre I have used my many years of marketing experience to help create this successful psychotherapy centre in Saltaire.
Neil and I have created a unique service for therapists and their clients that offers something different from the competition. Key parts of our service include an immaculate setting with excellent customer service however without marketing these aspects, the effort could well be wasted.
The marketing of this business includes a number of aspects:
- Branding – Establishing a high quality brand represented by a smart logo and identity that is reflected in all the literature, documents, webpages and images that we produce.
- Price – we research the competition and regularly review our costs to esure a pricing structure that offers value to our customers whilst considering costs.
- Advertising – initially we identified a quick route to bringing in new therapists would be to invest in some time-limited paid advertising online. This gave us the kickstart we required. We have not been required to spend on paid advertising since.
- Website – this is an essential aspect of the promotion on the centre. I designed a smart, fast website with good SEO, which has continued to generate a lot of business for the Victoria Therapy Centre. We have more recently had the website refreshed by a qualified web designer that focused on more technical aspects.
- Social media – Facebook, Twitter and Instagram has been used to establish and now maintains a public profile and personality for the company and promote our services.
- Signage – the building has a prominent position on a busy road so it makes sense to utilise this space to promote the business to passing traffic.
- Styling – many therapy spaces are known for being a bit dull, mis-matched or dated, so we chose new, contemporary furniture and created a modern and smart setting.
- Media coverage – by obtaining free publicity in local press and online, I helped boost awareness of the Victoria Therapy Centre and its services.
