David Whittaker is a qualified and experienced tradesman that has spent many years working on big commercial projects renovating heritage properties. Although enjoying utilising his craft, David decided he wanted to work closer to home and thought now was the time to move into working on domestic homes locally. However this was all very new to David and he felt very much a novice when it came to marketing himself and his skills.

tintintin* Marketing worked with David to identify the best ways to generate new business amongst homeowners in and around the Aire Valley on a very small budget. Helena created a simple, user-friendly website for David to show off his work. A drag-and-drop website builder was chosen as David is not technical but wanted to be able to make changes easily himself in the future. We set up a Facebook page and populated it with examples of his work. We also planned to implement some other ideas however it quickly became apparent that the website and Facebook page had worked well.

David was quickly was working full time on back-to-back projects and was even struggling to deal with enquiries so we have put the other ideas on hold for the time being, ready to action if business quietens off!
